The SMILE Station is a warm, cozy, friendly, functional and affordable place for Wedding Receptions. We have no catering restrictions which means you can serve your guests anything from home cooking and pot-luck style meals to fully catered events provided by whomever you choose. Two restrooms and a full industrial kitchen make it convenient. A gas fireplace and baby grand piano make it charming. With the new addition of the Hainley Room, your wedding party can have a place to prepare and/or relax before or during your event. It also is a great space for sequestering your littlest guests away from the adults for watching a movie and serving some pizza during your reception. Oaks Pioneer Church & SMILE Station are a Perfect Match
SMILE Station partners with Oaks Pioneer Chapel, located about 6 blocks away to provide a reception location after a wedding ceremony. Couples renting OPC for their ceremony and choose an all day rental at SMILE Station for their wedding reception, receive 10% off their rental! We are also part of OPC’s affordable wedding packages. The current wedding package includes the following.
- 3 hour Oaks Pioneer Chapel Rental – Any day/season
- One hour weekday (Monday – Thursday) rehearsal
- Nondenominational Officiant Services – Provided by EC Matrimony which includes: 45 minute – 1 hour consultation and personalized ceremony
- Fresh Flower Package provided by Sellwood Flower Company which includes: Bridal bouquet full size, Bridesmaid bouquet, Groom’s boutonniere, Best Man boutonniere, Tall and lush vase arrangement for the altar. Color and flower preferences can be accommodated and additions/substitutions can be made for an additional cost.
- A Full Day Rental at The SMILE Station (7am-11pm) which includes:
- Full industrial kitchen (no catering restrictions)
- Round table seating for 65 persons
- Chairs for 75 plus 10 rectangular tables
- Linens (white, $75 cleaning fee is required)
- Use of facilities’ amenities including, piano, fireplace, & projector system.
